SRI VENKATESWARAAUNIVERSITY

Sri Venkateswaraa University is a State University incorporated under Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act 2019. The sponsoring Body received the University status through Government Order GO Ms No. 81, Higher Education Department (K2) Dt 26.02.2021, Government of Tamil Nadu.

The University intends to establish world class infrastructure to facilitate Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Nursing and Agriculture education through its campuses in the state.

Sri Venkateswaraa Medcity is a 1000 beds Medical College Hospital owned by the University. The University has future plans in setting up Schools of Engineering, Applied Sciences, Liberal Arts, Law, Management and Hospitality.

COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY

The College of Physiotherapy at Sri Venkateswaraa University prepares students with the skills needed for physiotherapy, meeting the rising demand for professionals in rehabilitation, sports, fitness, and wellness.

The College of Physiotherapy, located on the Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College and Medcity Hospital campus in Chennai, offers specialized labs and a well-equipped library with physical and digital resources. Students benefit from access to comprehensive academic, sports, and recreational facilities, gaining hands-on experience under expert faculty guidance.

Students at Sri Venkateswaraa College of Physiotherapy gain hands-on experience at Medcity Hospital, treating 45-50 patients daily. The curriculum balances academics with cultural development, and the campus offers facilities for enhancing students' skills through events.
