The State Cycling Championship 2025, organized by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of India, was held from November 1st to 4th at Thiruporur Bypass Road and TNPESU Vengadamangalam. MPT students from the College of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateswara University, actively participated by offering specialized sports physiotherapy care for elite athletes throughout the event.

Demonstrating excellent coordination and competitive spirit, the duo emerged as runners-up in the doubles carrom event held on October 10, 2025. The multi-day festival, conducted from October 8 to 11, brought together medical and paramedical colleges from across the state to celebrate talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Kunalan from the College of Physiotherapy participated in the CM Trophy District Level Carrom Tournament (College Category) organized by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu. Both players demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, securing silver medals in doubles and singles events. The competition was held at Thiruvallur District SDAT on August 29, 2025, featuring 80 doubles teams and 130 singles participants.
