A Physiotherapy Assessment and Awareness Camp was conducted at Anbumalar Special School on 18 July 2026 to promote physical health, mobility, and functional independence. The programme focused on early identification of musculoskeletal and neurological concerns through professional physiotherapy assessment.
The camp featured screening for joint, back, and neck pain, along with postural and gait evaluation to identify mobility limitations. Participants received practical guidance on stretching, strengthening exercises, posture correction, ergonomic practices, home-based exercise programmes, and appropriate pain-management strategies.
The initiative received an encouraging response, with participants actively engaging in health education and individual counselling sessions. Individuals requiring additional support were guided towards further physiotherapy evaluation and rehabilitation, reinforcing the importance of early intervention, regular exercise, and preventive physical care for improved quality of life.
