Courses
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a structured five-year professional undergraduate program, which includes a compulsory one-year clinical internship. It is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and practical skills required to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with physical disabilities, functional limitations, or injuries. The curriculum combines essential medical subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology with core physiotherapy areas such as exercise therapy, electrotherapy, biomechanics, and manual therapy. The program emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and the development of critical thinking in clinical decision-making.
A key highlight of the BPT course is its extensive clinical training, which allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world healthcare environments such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and specialty clinics. This hands-on experience helps build confidence, professional competence, and communication skills. Graduates of the BPT program are well-qualified to work as ethical and skilled physiotherapists, promoting health, preventing disability, and improving physical function across various populations. The course also provides a strong academic foundation for those interested in pursuing higher studies, teaching, or research in the field of physiotherapy.
"Our Physiotherapy course is dedicated to building skilled, compassionate professionals. We focus on hands-on learning to help students restore movement and improve quality of life."
